Ingredients:

  • 2 cans (1080 mL) Aylmer® Accents® Petite Cut Stewed Tomatoes with Spicy Red Pepper, drained
  • 3 cups (750 mL) Hunt's® Original Tomato Sauce
  • 1 cup (250 mL) chopped green onions (250 ml = about 1 bunch)
  • 1 cup (250 mL) finely chopped red bell pepper
  • 1 cup (250 mL) finely chopped yellow bell pepper
  • 1 cup (250 mL) finely chopped orange bell pepper
  • 3 large cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup (125 mL) chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1 tablespoon (15 mL) fresh lime juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground red pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper

A spicy salsa with a hint of citrus loaded with tomatoes, colorful bell peppers, onion, garlic and cilantro.

Directions:

  1. Stir together all ingredients in large bowl until well combined.
  2. Cover; refrigerate 2 hours before serving.

Chef's Tip:

May use all yellow or orange bell peppers, if desired.
